Each person in a Heedy family group has a role with default permissions.

Default permissions

When a family member or caregiver joins the family group, their role gives them a set of default permissions.

These permissions control what they can do in Heedy.

Changing permissions

Only the family admin can change another member's permissions.

The admin can manage these permissions from the admin settings in Heedy.

The family admin

Every family group must always have at least one admin.

The admin has additional responsibilities, including managing family members, permissions, settings for the older adult's device, and the Heedy subscription.

The admin role can also be transferred to another member of the family group.
