The older adult's Heedy tablet needs an internet connection. You can use either Wi-Fi or SIM/mobile data.

Using Wi-Fi

Open the tablet's system settings, choose Wi-Fi, and connect to the Wi-Fi network you want to use.

Using mobile data

If the tablet supports a SIM or mobile data connection, make sure it has an active SIM and data plan.

Open the tablet's system settings and make sure mobile data is enabled.

Why does Heedy need an internet connection?

Heedy uses the internet for features such as:

• Video calls
  
• Receiving photos and messages
  
• Updating weather information
  

If Heedy is not receiving new information or calls are not connecting, check that the tablet is still connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
