Heedy is designed to keep mobile data use low when the older adult's tablet uses a SIM or mobile data connection.
Video calls
Heedy compresses video calls to reduce mobile data use.
Depending on the quality of the internet connection, this compression can sometimes affect video or sound quality.
Photos
Photos are compressed and optimized for the size of the older adult's screen. This helps reduce data use with little impact on the quality shown on the tablet.
What type of data plan do I need?
Most users can use Heedy with a normal mobile data SIM and data plan.
Actual data use depends on how Heedy is used. For example, frequent or longer video calls will use more data than receiving occasional photos and messages.
